How do I know if my car needs this or just a Full Detailed?

Accepted Answer

If the paint looks dull, has visible swirl marks in direct sunlight, or has lost its showroom depth — you need Enhancement Detail. If the paint looks fine and you just want a deep clean and a high-shine finish, Full Detailed (hand polish) is the right call. Send a photo or two before booking and we'll tell you honestly which is the better fit.

What's the difference between Enhancement and 2-Stage Paint Correction?

Enhancement is a single machine-polish stage — one product, one pad, one pass. It removes light swirls, surface dullness and water-spot etching. 2-Stage Paint Correction is two passes (a cutting stage then a polishing stage) for deeper swirls, more visible scratches, and heavier oxidation. 3-Stage adds a third refinement pass for show-car-level finish. Enhancement is the entry point; correction is what you book if Enhancement isn't enough.

Will this remove deeper scratches?

Accepted Answer

No. Single-stage polish removes paint at a microscopic level — enough to take out light swirls and surface dullness, not enough to remove a scratch you can catch with a fingernail. Those need 2-Stage or 3-Stage Paint Correction. We'll let you know honestly before machining starts whether your defects are within Enhancement's reach.

How long does the 3-month ceramic sealant last?

Accepted Answer

Around three months of strong protection with regular sensible washing. To extend its useful life, an Exterior Maintenance Wash every 4–6 weeks (ceramic-safe shampoo, no abrasion) is ideal. Avoid roller car washes and supermarket jet washes — both strip the sealant fast.

Is the interior cleaned at all during this service?

Accepted Answer

No. Enhancement Detail focuses entirely on the paint. If you want the interior cleaned to match, book an Interior Detailed alongside — many customers do. Or speak to us about combining services on the same studio day.

Question 6

Can I upgrade to a longer-lasting ceramic coating instead?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After paint correction, applying a Wax Is Dead® multi-year ceramic coating locks in the restored finish for 2 to 10 years rather than 3 months. It's the natural next step if you're investing in the paint — your correction lasts longer because the protection lasts longer. Ask for a quote when booking and we can recommend the right warranty length.

Question 7

Do I need to bring the car in pre-cleaned?

Accepted Answer

No — bring it as-is. The first stage of the service is a safe wash and full decontamination, so a dirty car is fine. In fact pre-washing at home doesn't help and can sometimes introduce swirls before we even start. Just turn up.
